Helping Others, One Person at a Time
Being a dentist allows me to help people in many ways. It might be providing a positive first dental visit for a child, starting them on the way to a lifetime of comfort with dental care. It might be increasing a person’s confidence and self-esteem by improving their smile. It could be helping someone in pain address and resolve their issue with a long-term solution that improves their quality of life. Each interaction is a chance to make a person’s life better!
Through dentistry I am able to interact with people of all ages from different walks of life. These interactions enable me to cultivate positive relationships with my patients and their families. My patients are important to me and I value being a part of their healthcare life. I treasure the friendships we develop and am honored to help people achieve healthy bodies and healthy smiles.
I know many people have had negative past dental experiences. These experiences may make it difficult for them to seek out care and some experience severe anxiety when thinking about seeing the dentist. It is gratifying to help these people: reassuring and encouraging them, and providing painless care, so they can overcome their fears and embrace caring for their smile’s health.
Education and Commitment to Continuing Education
I’ve been practicing dentistry for over 15 years. My Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) was awarded by the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. OU's high standards of education helped me attain the skills, knowledge, and understanding of modern dentistry.
However, this is a field that’s constantly changing. Advancements in techniques, materials, technology, and patient care all mean better dental experiences and greater results. It is my responsibility, and my passion, to stay current on these changes.
I frequently attend the interdisciplinary Full Mouth Study Club. Here, I study with and learn from other dentists and the top oral healthcare specialists in our area. This keeps me informed of the range of treatment possibilities for patients. I’ve also studied at the McGarry Implant Institute, which allows me to restore function by utilizing implants and give patients the healthy, beautiful smiles they deserve.
I care about what I do and like things to be done the right way, the first time. Continuing dental education ensures the right care for patients.

Beyond the Office
I was born in Tulsa, lived in Plano, TX, from 1st Grade through high school, and spent my summers here in Edmond. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma. I then attended dental school after marrying my wife, Kirsten. We spent a few years in Round Rock, Texas after I graduated from dental school. I moved to Edmond in 2005 to open Stonebridge Dental.
My wife Kirsten and I have been married for over 25 years. She’s a speech-language pathologist who grew up in Texas and also graduated from OU. We have been blessed with four children: McKenna, Tierney, Lorelei, and Brecken. When not working, you will find me enjoying time with Kirsten and the kids. I’m an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, where I frequently serve as a lector.
I enjoy running and love sports, especially my hometown favorites: the OU Sooners and the OKC Thunder!
